Why are there so many people who like the Civic?
Terrible torqueless engines, horrible interiors, ludicrous model bloat and styling so boring not even my grandmother would consider one.

EP3 Civics were pretty common rally cars here in Finland and there's probably still many competing. There are some FN2 models too that are pretty fast.

Because the last Honda Civic was made about 10 years ago. or 15 depending on which Honda guy you ask. Either way the 4th, 5th, and 6th gen cars are pretty much the only Civics worth owning, the EP3 was okay tho.

Cheap to buy, cheap to own, and cheap to mod. Also, ignorance and stupidity in numbers trumps intelligence and thoughtfulness more often than not.

Usually half the field at any given rally is 2WD, and some national championships now only allow 2WD cars (British and Australian being chief among them)
